This is a happy ending to brag about. A shelter dog who loves her guy!
Sophie became a little guarding with visitors during the Covid shut down. With some training help, she's back to her old self! Mom did a fantastic job with her, in the little time we had to over come some issues. Mom didn't always like my "delivery", however, she is used to challenges, and she followed through successfully! Congrats to her and Dylan!!

When Roxy’s guardians came to me they were bewildered finding out that their dog was deaf.
She was a pup who needed some guidance and manners, so we got to work to develop a line of communication between them. She was a quick study and learned very good manners on the leash and after taking lessons at home, they enrolled her into the CGC class where she passed with flying colors.
This story proves that with communication, work and patience that most any handicap can be overcome and a happy healthy relationship formed. Roxy is truly a Canine Good Citizen of which her guardians can be very proud.
